Sense of Things
Some times nothing makes sense. Things don’t always add up into a tight nice story.
It’s hard in those times to see anything else but the mess. It’s hard in those times to recognize God’s fingerprints in the unfolding of our stories.
It’s tempting in those moments to be angry and to forget the constant-ness of God. Yes God is always the same. He loves us. He’s watching over us. He’s not blind to our struggles or deaf to our pleas. His wisdom is quiet. It beckons us to draw a bit closer to listen.
We have to draw closer to be able to hear. And it is in this place of drawing closer that we understand and everything makes sense.
P.S. I love God. He’s amazing. 🙂
