Dear Sister-Girl

Jul 20, 2018 | Inspiration, Letters From A Girlfriend

Dear sister-girl,

As you continue on your journey, you would face all sorts of things – some good, some bad – but in the midst of this all, don’t ever judge God through the lens of your circumstances. The Father is not your circumstances: He is bigger than your circumstances, however good they may be.  He is sovereign of all things.

I thought it important to tell you this because the enemy would come to you and try to whisper lies in your ears. He would try to accuse God before you and make you think that God is not good or that He (God) has brought evil upon you or seeks to deprive you of the best. But you must not listen to the voice of the stranger. In such moments, you must remember that the LORD is good and there is no wickedness in Him. He does all things well and causes ALL THINGS to work together for good for you. You must TRUST always in THE LORD with all your heart and not lean on your own understanding.

“O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him”. Psalm 34:8

This I share with you today has been a truth that I have held on to for several years and has turned out to be my biggest weapon in the most difficult seasons: remembering that the Lord is good, and always good. He uses all things and only ever does good. He does not tempt me or bring evil upon me.

So I pass this truth on to you this day, believing that you will profit with it.  Walk on sister-girl, walk on.

Your sister in the faith,
